The Jaguar X-Type

The Jaguar X-Type is a compact executive car launched in 2001 in an effort to compete with similar offerings from Jaguar's German rivals, such as the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Sharing its platform with a 2000 Ford Mondeo, the Jaguar X-Type is still in its first generation and without a planned successor. The current face-lifted model is expected to continue through to the 2010 model year in its remaining markets.
The Jaguar X-Type is available as a saloon and estate and is priced from £21,500–£29,000
